Affordable, world-class care for disorders of the brain, spine and nerves — with every specialist under one roof.

A hospital built around the nervous system
Neurology and neurosurgery are the medical and surgical specialties that deal with disorders of the nervous system — the diagnosis and management of every category of disease involving the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems, including their coverings, blood vessels and effector tissue such as muscle.
Neurologists are trained to investigate, diagnose and treat neurological disorders medically. Neurosurgeons specialise in surgical procedures of the nervous system. Both are also involved in clinical research, clinical trials and translational research.
At SKS, neurologists, neurosurgeons and allied staff are available round the clock, under one roof.

Why a hospital dedicated only to the nervous system?
Much like eye surgery, most procedures on the brain, spine and peripheral nerves are clean procedures. Specialties such as thoracic surgery, urology, general surgery and gynaecology involve opening contaminated body cavities.
Hospitals dedicated only to eye disorders are common all over the world. On the same lines, we chose to build a hospital that cares only for disorders of the nervous system — and this focus is a large part of why our post-operative infection rate is so low.

Neuro and trauma emergencies, 24 hours a day
Neurologists and neurosurgeons are on site round the clock.
